Faculty Awards and Grants

Students are not the only ones benefiting from our funding. Faculty advisors are eligible to apply for awards and grants, with some programs made specifically for them. Encouraging the advancement of psychology is part of the Psi Chi mission, and in many ways, faculty advisors are uniquely positioned to do just that.

Two ways for faculty members to be involved:

  1. Become a reviewer. Psi Chi welcomes volunteers who have obtained PhDs in psychology or psychology related fields to review applications for awards and grants. Gain professional service hours. Help students and/or peers improve their work.
    Apply to become a reviewer

  2. Serve as a sponsor. Many Psi Chi programs require students to have a faculty sponsor. As a sponsor, you will work side-by-side with a student, serving as a guide and mentor for a set amount of time as a project is completed.
    Visit the sponsor page.
