Jerika Norona

University of Tennessee, Knoxville
2013–14 winner

"Receiving this generous grant allowed me to attend the 26th Annual Convention of the Association for Psychological Science in San Francisco, CA. While there, I learned about current developmental and clinical research on adolescence and emerging adults, as well as new developments in psychological assessment and psychotherapy. I also had the privilege to meet and network with fellow graduate students and faculty members from around the world. Additionally, the 3-year APS membership has also given me the opportunity to connect with undergraduate and graduate student members of the APS Student Caucus, which promotes students' pursuits in psychological science.
