Graduate Research Grants
What is it?
  • $20,000 in funding to defray the costs of graduate research projects.
  • Each applicant can request up to $1,500.

How does it work?

  1. Write an abstract and budget for your research project.
  2. Obtain IRB approval if necessary.
  3. Identify a faculty member to oversee guide you during your research.
  4. Apply for the grant.
  5. Complete the project.
  6. Report your results.

Who should apply?

Graduate students who

  • the primary author and project director,
  • a graduate student,
  • a member of Psi Chi,
  • have a faculty member willing to oversee the project, and
  • the recipient of only one research grant per year.
