- The deadline for submissions to SWPA is November 30. To be included in the Psi Chi portion of the program and to be eligible for a research award, the first (submitting) author must be a Psi Chi student member. Visit the Southwestern Psychological Association website for more details. The deadline for regional travel grants is February 1, 2014.

April 3–5, 2014 on your calendar for the annual SWPA convention in San Antonio,
TX, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on the Riverwalk. The Distinguished Lecturer will be Dr. Rachel Herz (Brown University, RI), an internationally known expert on olfaction and emotion. Dr. Herz often serves as an expert witness in court cases involving smell/olfaction and as a consultant to companies that manufacture and market scents.
