Florida Southern College
2012–13 winner

"Receiving this grant has allowed me to demonstrate to graduate programs my ability to apply for grants and to put them to good use, which is invaluable. On a broader scale, the entire process from start to finish has made me a better researcher, a more persistent thinker, and a mentor to the students I supervise in the lab. All of these lessons will serve me the rest of my academic career.”
