I hope that your spring semester is going well. It has been an exciting year so far, and I’m really looking forward to hearing your feedback on the changes at Psi Chi. I also have some news and opportunities I would like to share with you and your chapter members.
RMPA planning is almost complete, and it looks like we have an exciting program for April in Salt Lake City. We have two events planned just for faculty advisors that I hope you will be able to enjoy. The first is our Advisor’s Luncheon on Friday, April 25; you will be receiving an invitation to that shortly. The second is a morning coffee and light breakfast session with Dr. Martha Zlokovich, Executive Director of Psi Chi. This will take place Saturday starting at 8:00 a.m. and is intended as a faculty advisor support session.
The following are announcements I would like you to pass on to your students:
Thursday, April 24 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. there will be RMPA programming designed for undergraduate students. This includes a “first time” at RMPA session and three grad school sessions. Please encourage your students to attend.
Psi Chi has unrestricted travel grants for student members (graduate and undergraduate) to support their travel to non-regional conventions such as APA or APS to present their research. You can connect them to the travel grant application here starting April 1.
