Kayla O'Malley [06]
recently earned the best student research award from the Gerontological Society of America, Social Research, Policy and Practice Division. Her research examined the effects of animal-assisted therapy on better health and quality of life for people over the age of 65. Murray State University (KY)

David D. Fox [02]
is currently a psychotherapist for the Onondaga Pastoral Counseling Center (OPCC). Through OPCC, David also sees adults at Crouse Hospital's drug rehabilitation center and students at two inner city schools. He also specializes in clinical relaxation techniques to treat mental and physical illnesses in the private and public sectors.

Fordham Univ at Lincoln Center

Inducted into Psi Chi in 1994, Samvel Jeshmaridian was a visiting psychologist at Fordham University when he became a member. He is now a researcher at Fordham Institute, an adjunct faculty member at Borough of Manhattan Community College, CUNY, and a writer and coeditor at New World Encyclopedia.

Sana Sadeghi [05]
works as a social worker for Steadfast Housing Development Corporation, a temporary housing assistance program for persons diagnosed with severe mental illnesses.

Univ of Houston (TX)
Elaheh Ashtari [05]
has moved to Chicago to pursue a PsyD in clinical psychology at the Adler School of Professional Psychology.

Wahab Hanif [05]
works at Houston Community College as a counselor in the student support services program and teaches at Princeton Review helping high school students prepare for the SAT. He is writing a book of fiction tentatively titled Average Joe.

has recently opened a private practice in Palestine, TX.

Sydney Adams
[00] completed her masters of social work with a mental health concentration at the University of Houston in 2002. She has worked for hospitals and professionals as a psychotherapist and clinical test administrator. In February 2006, she opened her own psychotherapy practice (www.sydneyadamslcsw.com).

Nadia Cano [04]
graduated in May 2006 from the University of Houston-Victoria with a masters in counseling psychology. She has been accepted to the New Mexico State University's doctoral program in counseling psychology.

Amber Barger [05
] worked as a domestic violence advocate at a shelter in Springfield. She enrolled in Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University's PsyD program specializing in child and adolescent psychology. She works with youth at a residential facility with emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Tia Schoth [04]
married Aaron Smith [03] and worked in a customer call center for Ameren CIPS in Pawnee, IL, before returning to school to pursue a masters in human resource development. She is a graduate assistant at the Illinois Leadership Center.

is a graduate student at the University of Kansas and hopes to earn her masters in counseling psychology in May 2007. She is a career counselor for the university.

Karla Flamenco [03]
is working on her masters in clinical psychology at California State University, Fullerton. She also works with low-income and homeless families in San Bernardino County as a program coordinator for Mercy House of Ontario.

attended the University of Maine's master of science in human development program.

Ashley Funk [05]
is enrolled in Towson University's master of arts degree program for experimental psychology. She is also employed at Sheppard Pratt as a teacher's assistant in the autism program.

Dr. Christopher W. Ingalls [79]
is a licensed psychologist and qualified neuropsychologist in Newport Beach, CA. He works at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center's stroke rehabilitation unit and is a consultant to a number of rehabilitation programs and agencies serving adult and pediatric
patients with neurological disorders.

Linda Kondilis [01]
began working towards her clinical psychology PhD at Nova Southeastern University during the fall of 2006.

Gretchen Kennedy [03] received her masters of education in school counseling. She is currently employed as a psychometrician at a private counseling practice in Dayton, OH, where she created and now leads a support group for parents.

Kera Penney [05] finished her first year of graduate school at Boston University's School of Medicine in the mental health and behavioral medicine program.

Valerie Dirton [04]
is in law school at the Massachusetts School of Law in Andover and plans to combine her education in psychology with family law.

Alana Biggs [04]
did an internship working as a group therapy assistant before starting work at the Johnson City Medical Center as a family advocate. In September 2006, she began a PsyD program in Berkeley called The Wright Institute.

Liesl Danley [04] is working on a masters in counseling at the University of Memphis.

Caroline Cozza [04]
works at the University of Chicago as the stress and depression lab's research coordinator. At the lab, she narrowed her research interest to mindfulness and dialectical behavioral therapy and the utility of applying such techniques to mood disorder treatment.

was accepted into the I/O doctoral psychology program at DePaul University.

Shelley R. (Nordtome) Reed [93]
is enrolled at Marylhurst University in the master of arts program in applied theology. Her work focuses on Native American religion and spirituality. She was selected for the Wisdom of the Elders' board of directors, a Native American nonprofit.

Cheryl Self [01]
graduated from law school in August 2005 and took the bar exam. She is working as an associate at a law firm in Las Vegas.

is a graduate student at New Mexico State University's school of social work and also works as a case manager with New Day Youth and Family Services.

is attending graduate school at Suffolk University in Boston to earn a double masters degree in Criminal Justice and Mental Health Counseling.

Sara Cowling [04]
graduated from East Carolina University's masters of social work program. She accepted a job as a social worker in the psychiatric unit of Halifax Regional Medical Center, in Roanoke Rapids.

Kelly Everett Steiner [65]
worked for public schools, mental health facilities, juvenile offender programs, and the Texas Department of Criminal Justice's institutional division. He is now retired and living in Texas City where he enjoys fishing, reading, the Internet, and movies.

Peggy Leader [05]
is working on her masters in forensic psychology at Argosy University. She is also working as the treatment specialist at the Bedford County Prison, implementing education and treatment programs.

Timothy Fetter [02]
has a masters degree in social work and works as a family therapist for an agency in PA called Family Links. He also teaches undergraduate social psychology at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg.

continued her studies at Capella University's Harold Abel School of Psychology. She now works at the Fogarty Center, a family-oriented, nonprofit organization aiding mentally challenged individuals.

Glenna P. Stumblingbear [04]
enrolled in Oklahoma State University's counseling psychology program in summer 2005. Her research interests include American Indian issues with an emphasis on substance use, sobriety, resiliency, positive coping, acculturation, cultural identity, anger, multicultural issues, stalking, and the culture of honor.

Shawana McDowell [05]
works at Blue Cross Blue Shield. She has one son and another child on the way.

Charlton Bruce Hall [05]
works at the Phoenix Center in Greenville, SC as a clinical addictions counselor. He is pursuing an education specialist degree in marriage and family therapy at Converse College. He is the director of Tomorrow's Light Center (www.tomorrowslight.org), a therapy center for children using art, music, dance, and play.

Donna Jenkins [05] is the cofounder and executive director of an educational nonprofit organization called Save Our Girls, Inc (www.saveourgirls.org).

Susan Andre [03]
spent three years at the University of Southern Maine on a research project involving a fungicide called Vinclozolin. The paper will be published in the Neurotoxicology and Teratology journal. She is now a grandmother living in AZ.

Univ of Southern Mississippi-Gulf Coast
Sheldon Shore [03]
works as a clinical assessor for nursing homes in the Gulf Coast area. His work has been challenging recently because of a staffing decrease and an increase in nursing home residents without homes or family support since the 2005 hurricane season.

Angela R. Miles [04] works for Millcreek community services, a mental health and retardation day center.

Hannah Sterling [04]
spent three months in Matamoros, Mexico, in a first-year missionary internship with Adventures in Missions, ministering through local churches, an orphanage, and poverty-stricken communities. In summer 2006, she spent time in New Orleans as a project leader for youth volunteers.

Jason Shotts [05]
has been working at Peninsula Village as a program counselor with at-risk youth. He was recently promoted to senior program counselor and is contemplating a return to graduate school.

was a regional program development director for Heritage Health Services (Spring, TX) and a utilization management director for Timberlawn Mental Health System (Dallas). He is now the owner of "A Mind For Business, PA" which provides therapy, counseling, and consultation service for industry leaders.

Leonardo D. Mancha [05]
works as a case manager at the Safe Haven homeless shelter assisting mentally ill homeless individuals. He was accepted into Our Lady of the Lake University's counseling program for a masters of science in psychology.

Tammy Rice [05] volunteered for active duty recall with the US Coast Guard as a reservist. She is working in a support position to the salvage operations in LA, MS, and AL in the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Tom Kertes [03]
is a human rights organizer with the United Workers Association in Baltimore. He is responsible for media, messaging, and marketing efforts. Tom lives in Seattle, WA, and flies between Seattle and Baltimore for 3-5 weeks stints.

Julia Nicole Jump [05] attends the University of Puget Sound for a masters in education with a focus on counseling and hopes to be an elementary school counselor.

Amy Powell [03]
is completing her final year of graduate studies at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology. She began her predoctoral internship in September 2006 at a maximum security prison called Oak Park Heights.

Tom Ross [04]
is a graduate student in experimental psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, working on research involving neurophysiological dietary processes with exogenous cannabinoids used to inhibit food intake. He works as a case manager for the Wisconsin's Department of Health and Family Services.

Jason Artz [04]
is pursuing his MSE in counselor education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville where he also works as a graduate assistant for a professor in his program. When he graduates in 2008, his emphasis will be in community counseling and school counseling.

Molly Ramm [04]
is in the masters of social work program at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN. She was a social work intern with the Bloomington public school district for two years working with high-risk adolescents.

Milt Findley [96]
is in his final year at the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology. He works as a therapist with adults and adolescents with a wide variety of problems.

graduated with a masters from Seton Hall University's John C. Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations with a focus on human rights and humanitarian affairs.

Walden University (MN)

Inducted into Psi Chi in 2000, Laura Allen wrote The Plain & Simple Guide to Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork Certification published in 2005. She is the owner of THERA-SSAGE, an alternative healthcare clinic in Rutherfordton, NC, and is an approved provider of continuing education in therapetuic massage and bodywork. She is on the faculty of the Asheville School of Massage & Yoga and has taught in Ireland.

Parisa Rayes [05] started a volunteer community service program for teenagers in the United Arab Emirates. Visit www.teens4pa.org to learn more about the group.

Lauren Mengedoht [05]
presented her research on the Prisoner's Dilemma Game at the annual conference of the Association of Behavior Analysis in Chicago. She is enrolled in the cognitive/experimental psychology program at Stony Brook University, SUNY.

Sandra M. Phillips [04]
is working on her masters in clinical counseling at Western Seminary in Portland. She works as a case manager at Columbia River Mental Health Services' geriatric division where she completed a counseling internship. She is now completing her second counseling internship at Sunnyside Counseling Center.

Eva Halter [05] is in the Eastern Washington University's MSW graduate school program.

Kimberlee Shattuck [05] is a single parent, working on her masters with a specialization in gerontology through the Kansas State University distance degree program.

Jessica Jacobson [05]
is working as a research assistant for professor Marcia Johnson at Yale University on projects exploring memory processes, emotion, and aging. She began a clinical psychology PhD program at the University of Miami in fall 2006.

West Virginia University
Christy Stiltner [05]
is a counseling masters student at West Virginia University.

Western Connecticut State University
Rose Fitzgerald [04] works with autistic 3- and 4-year olds at the Institute of Professional Practice as an ABA therapist.

Western Washington University
Brian Ogolsky [02] graduated with his masters in 2004 and is completing his PhD in family studies and human development at the University of Arizona.

Westfield State College (MA)
Heather Cripps [04] taught Spanish for a year before enrolling in the school psychology MA/CAGS program at Northeastern University. She lives in Boston and works at Brookline High School as a teacher's aide.

Westminster College (PA)

Diana Moore [03] worked at the University of Pittsburgh for two years as a research assistant for a psychology professor. She is in the forensic psychology doctoral program at Alliant International University.

Wheeling Jesuit University (WV)
Susi Hupp [04] is in her second year of medical school at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. She traveled to India in summer 2005 and spent six weeks volunteering in the homes run by Mother Teresa's Sisters of Charity in Kolkata.

Wichita State University (KS)

Annette (Gnagy) Hampton [79] received her masters in psychology from Wichita State University in 1986 and spent 15 years in industry in human factors. She is now a psychology instructor at Calhoun Community College in Huntsville, AL.
