JUNE 1: FACULTY ADVISOR RESEARCH GRANTS DUE
The submission deadline for a Psi Chi Faculty Advisor Research Grant is June 1, 2009.

MEMBERSHIP FEE INCREASE
In order to continue the numerous benefits of membership, the Psi Chi Board of Directors has approved an increase to the lifetime membership fee. The last increase in membership fees was in 2000. The new membership fee will be $45 beginning July 1, 2009. Membership registrations postmarked after July 1, 2009, that do not reflect the new membership fee (regardless of induction date listed), will be returned to the chapter for resubmission with the correct fees.
2009 APA CONVENTION
Psi Chi's 80th Annual Convention, held in conjunction with the 2009 APA Convention, is in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, August 6-9, 2009. This year's Distinguished Lecturer is John T. Cacioppo, PhD.

CHAPTER REMINDERS: REMAINING NEW MEMBERS, CHAPTER REPORTS AND SUBMISSIONS TO EYE ON PSI CHI
Chapters are reminded to forward all new members' information and fees from the 2008-09 academic year to the Central Office. Individuals become Psi Chi members only when their registration information and fees are entered at the Central Office. Chapters sometimes neglect to forward new inductees' information or fees, and thus those persons are never officially registered as members. Chapters are also reminded to file the Annual and Financial Reports by June 30, 2009.

Please note on your calendar that the Chapter Submission Deadlines for Eye on Psi Chi have changed! The new dates are as follows:
