The deadlines to submit chapter activities to Eye on Psi Chi have been changed. The new deadlines will give chapters more time to submit for the Winter and Spring issues. Chapters may submit activities anytime during the year, but need to follow the deadline schedule to be included in specific issues. To submit, go to http://www.psichi.org/chapteradmin/reports_oa.aspx and login with the chapter username and password. You can write about a successful fundraising activity, guest speaker, service project, or chapter social event. The activity should be written in paragraph form—do not send lists.

October 15 (Winter)

December 15 (Spring)

February 15 (Summer)

June 15 (Fall)

The Board of Directors is conducting a survey on Psi Chi’s Awards & Grants program. The goal of this survey is to collect information on what our members want to see Psi Chi offer, especially in the way of new programs. Results will be used by the Board of Directors and staff in developing and launching new programs in Fall 2011.

The link to the survey can be found at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/psichi. The survey will be open through October 8th. Questions about the survey or requests for paper copies of the survey should be sent to awards@psichi.org.

Please encourage your undergraduate and graduate students to participate in the survey. We also welcome faculty participation.

Thanks to the chapters who have submitted their 990N Authorization forms to the Central Office. This form, which allows the Central Office to file the 990-N on your behalf, can be found at http://www.psichi.org/pdf/990NAuthorization.pdf. It takes just a few minutes to complete and must be signed by the chapter advisor or chapter officer to be valid.

There are still several hundred chapters who have not submitted this form. If your chapter has not submitted this form, please do so by October 1, 2010.
