HAS YOUR CHAPTER VOTED YET?
Chapters need to vote for new members of Psi Chi’s Board of Directors by March 15. Make sure your chapter conducts this important activity at a chapter meeting before this deadline. Your faculty advisor can log on to http://psichi.org/ChapterAdmin/Vote.aspx to show chapter members the candidates’ position statements and bios. After your chapter votes, record the choices for President-Elect and, if applicable, regional Vice-President (this year the Vice-President elections are in the Southeastern, Southwestern, and Midwestern regions). Remember, chapters have to vote to be eligible for a Model Chapter award. Voting closes on March 15.

FACEBOOK T-SHIRT CAPTION CONTEST—WE HAVE A WINNER!
Congratulations to Tonya Lovell Hatter of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville who submitted the winning caption—“Sometimes an ink blot is just an ink blot.” The winning T-shirt caption will be available soon on the Psi Chi merchandise website. Meanwhile, check out last year's member contest winner—“It's not Greek, it's Geek” at http://merchandise.psichi.org/apparel/men-s-and-women-s-t-shirt-contest-winner.html

GOING TO EPA?
Are you going to the 2012 EPA Convention in Pittsburgh? Be sure to attend Psi Chi programs during that event, including a talk entitled “Project Nim – The Untold Story” about teaching sign language to a chimpanzee in order to study the evolution of language by Dr. Herbert Terrace of Columbia University, Psi Chi’s Distinguished Lecturer on March 1, the Chapter Exchange and Awards Ceremony on March 2, and workshops on preparing for/applying to graduate school on March 3. Go to http://www.psichi.org/Conventions/default.aspx?con=10040 for the complete schedule.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION TRAVEL GRANT DEADLINE
Travel Grants are available for students presenting at the 2012 Rocky Mountain Psychological Association Convention, April 12–14 in Reno, NV. Awards will range between $150 and $300, with $3,000 in available funds for this convention. Although presenting at the convention is one of the screening criteria, it is not required. The deadline for applications is March 9.
