Contribute to Psychological Science as a Participant and/or a Researcher:
Psi Chi chapters are invited to contribute to the International Situations Project which aims to contribute to a collective research project from UC Riverside http://psibeta.org/site/announcing-psi-beta-national-research-project-2012-2013. We are encouraging Psi Chi chapters to participate in this National Research Project in coordination with Psi Beta. Psi Chi chapters can serve as study participants or individual members can serve as contributing researchers. Currently, researchers from many nations are contributing international samples, and we are being asked to provide samples from across the United States. This 30-minute Internet task asks participants to describe a situation and then complete two Q-Sorts, measuring both situations (RSQ) and personality (RBQ). Contributing researchers will generate a small sample (N = 70) and have access to the combined data sets. Contributors will also be acknowledged on David Funder’s University of California, Riverside International Situations Project website.
