APA Convention Division 52 (International Psychology) Student Poster Submissions
December 14 Deadline
Student poster submissions for the Division 52 Annual APA conference in Honolulu, HI, have been extended through midnight (EST) December 14. The extension is only valid for posters, not for papers or symposia. The conference will take place July 31–August 4, 2013.
Because it is beyond the APA deadline, please submit the abstract (100 words) and summary (up to 500 words) directly to

- Each author’s name, highest degree, department affiliation, and APA status
- Email address and other contact information of presenting author
- APAGS membership of 1st author (may be entitled to free registration)

December 14 Deadline
This is an opportunity for students pursuing a degree in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines to receive a full scholarship and be employed upon degree completion at a Department of Defense facility.
Scholarships awarded include a stipend of $25,000 to $38,000 a year, tuition and fees, health insurance contribution, and book allowance. Psychology majors are eligible to apply under the Cognitive, Neural, and Behavioral Sciences discipline. To apply visit

The Active Minds Emerging Scholars Fellowship is Calling for Proposals
December 31 Deadline
The Active Minds Emerging Scholars Fellowship is currently seeking proposals from currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students for unique and thought-provoking research or creative projects related to mental health. Emerging Scholars will be awarded a $750 stipend to support their work and may apply for an additional $250 in reimbursement for material expenses. Visit
