SEPA Convention: March 13-16 in Atlanta, GA (Omni/CNN Center)It’s not too late to attend the 59th Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Psychological Association. Online registration is closed, but you will be able to register on-site. Rooms at the Omni Hotel at the CNN Center are still available along with the Embassy Suite–Centennial Olympic Park.
Psi Chi’s Distinguished Lecturer is Dr. Melissa Reeves who travels both nationally and internationally training professionals on crisis prevention and intervention, threat assessment, and impact of trauma. Her talk is entitled “From Mass Shootings to Natural Disasters: Understanding Trauma and How It Impacts Our Sense of Safety” and covers recent events in the news.
Board Elections Close on March 15
Make sure your chapter participates in the Psi Chi Board elections. All chapters are eligible to vote for Psi Chi’s next President-Elect and regional chapters in the East, Rocky Mountain, and West can vote for their Vice-President positions.
