This mini-workshop draws on accumulated wisdom, literature reviews, and recent studies to present prescriptive information on preparing for graduate school in psychology. Designed for both faculty advisors and prospective students. The panel will present strategies for preparing for admission requirements, for doing and presenting research, for selecting compatible graduate programs, and for capitalizing on student strengths. Handouts adapted from the Insider's Guide to Graduate Programs in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, and The Complete Guide to Graduate School Admission will supplement the presentations.

In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of OTRP, this session is intended to increase awareness amongst students and faculty members about a rich depository of resources that are available for the study of psychology.

This luncheon, jointly sponsored by Psi Chi and EPA, provides an opportunity for students of psychology to sit down for lunch with noted psychologists in the field. Speakers TBA. Students will need to pay for their own meal and reservations are requested.

Members and former members of an award-winning  Psi Chi Chapter underscore what it takes to bring students together to make extracurricular activities a vital part of a psychology program. The Psi Chi Chapter at Rutgers University Camden was honored with the 2002 Eastern Regional Chapter Award by the Psi Chi National Council.
