Psi Chi Distinguished Lecture: "Grand Illusions of Memory"

Speaker: Elizabeth Loftus, University of California, Irvine
Chair: Michael D. Hall, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (Psi Chi Western Regional Vice-President)

This year's distinguished speaker is experimental psychologist Elizabeth Loftus, PhD, who is recognized as an expert on eyewitness memory research, including "recovered memories," and is also the President-Elect of WPA. A brief reception in the WPA Hospitality Suite will follow.

Psi Chi Chapter Exchange and Social Hour
5:30 - 7:30 p.m., Cowboy Artists Room
Chair: Michael D. Hall, University of Nevada, Las Vegas

The Psi Chi Chapter Exchange is a gathering of Psi Chi students and advisors from chapters in the region. This meeting is convened so that the chapters can share information about the ongoing implementation of their academic, career-related, and service programs. Typically, the exchange includes soliciting suggestions by other chapters, and provides an opportunity to give requests and feedback to regional representatives and the National Office.
