Psi Chi/SEPA Invited Address: "Sex, Lies, and Serial Killers: The Multi-utility of Forensic Psychology"

While a typical role for psychologists in the forensic arena involves mental state assessments, psychologists can also seek other opportunities for applying their expertise. Dr. Katherine Ramsland, a.k.a., "Indie Annie Jones," has exploited psychology's value for many venues, from courtroom consulting to exhumation projects, but her expertise is psychopaths and serial killers. She will demonstrate how psychology contributes to death investigations, highlighting the methods of profiling and psychological autopsies.

In an interactive discussion, Brian will offer an introspective look at his learnings from over 10 years as a Management Consultant. The learnings will range from making the choice to apply his knowledge in psychology as a consultant to how to create an effective work/life balance while consulting to Fortune 500  companies throughout the U.S.
