How can existing scientific communication practices be improved to increase efficiency in the accumulation of knowledge, and improve the alignment between daily practices and the values of the academic community? This presentation will focus on mechanisms to improve openness, integrity, and reproducibility in science. Dr. Nosek will introduce the Center for Open Science (http://centerforopenscience.org/) and discuss some present and possible futures of scientific communication.
