BALLOTS MAILED
Ballots for candidates for the 2002-2003 Psi Chi National Council were mailed to all chapters by the February 1 deadline. The deadline for chapters to return the ballot is March 15, 2002 (postmark). All chapters are encouraged to vote. This election not only determines the future leaders of Psi Chi, but chapter participation in elections is also a significant criteria used by judges when considering winners of the Cousins and Regional Chapter Awards, as well as the new Model Chapter Awards (read below).
NEW: MODEL CHAPTER AWARDS
To recognize and reward all Psi Chi chapters meeting Psi Chi's chapter guidelines, Psi Chi has added a new annual recognition for chapters that demonstrate outstanding chapter activity. All Psi Chi chapters are eligible; however, to be considered for the $100 award a chapter must maintain consistent records of membership inductions, chapter reports, service projects and other criteria associated with being a model chapter. Read more about model chapters here.
