MAIL NATIONAL BALLOTS BY MARCH 15
The last day to mail your chapter's ballots for Psi Chi's National Officers is March 15, 2005 (postmark). Do NOT mail it to the National Office; instead, use the postage-paid, red-letter envelope (addressed to the CPA firm of Rubino & McGeehin) that was enclosed with the ballot mailing. Voting is one of the criteria used for several Psi Chi Chapter Awards, and is also important in the future direction of Psi Chi.
ACHS INITIATIVE: "A MATTER OF ETHICS"
The Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) is spearheading a three-year national project to promote a greater understanding of and commitment to ethical behavior. To emphasize the importance of upholding high ethical standards in our own discipline, the Psi Chi National Council encourages Psi Chi chapters to participate in this initiative by doing at least one of the activities suggested by ACHS on its own or in collaboration with other campus honor societies. TIPS FOR PRESENTING A POSTER OR PAPER AT A CONVENTION
Many Psi Chi members are now preparing to present research at a regional, national or local research conference. Psi Chi has prepared an online guide for first-time presenters (or veterans!). Tips for both poster and paper presentations, sample poster layouts, and more can be found online here:
