New for the 2005-06 academic year are two internship grant programs available to undergraduate and graduate-level Psi Chi members. The Psi Chi/FBI National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime (NCAVC) Internship Grant provides a 14-week unpaid research experience in the fall and spring semesters at the NCAVC in Quantico, Virginia. One grant up to $7,000 will be available each semester if a Psi Chi member is selected as an intern. The Psi Chi/APA Science Directorate Internship Grant is a paid 10-week summer internship in Washington, DC to provide experience in science administration and to learn more about the science of psychology. This grant will provide $2,000 to supplement the salary paid by the APA. More on both grants here:

Psi Chi President Robert Youth especially encourages chapters this year to expand Psi Chi's commitment to the Food Drive national service project by working to develop an organization-wide network of Psi Chi chapters as a service-education initiative.
