RETURN NOMINATIONS BY DECEMBER 15 If your chapter has chosen to nominate a candidate for the office of Psi Chi National President-Elect (see Call for Nominations mailed to all chapters), please remember to return the requested information by December 15, 2005 (postmark) to the correct address. PSI CHI/APA SCIENCE DIRECTORATE INTERNSHIP GRANT The submission deadline for this new grant falls very soon after the beginning of the new year--January 15, 2006. This 10-week paid summer internship with the APA Science Directorate in Washington, D.C., gives undergraduate Psi Chi members experience in science administration and the opportunity to learn more about the science of psychology. GET PUBLISHED! (YOUR CHAPTER'S ACTIVITIES) Psi Chi encourages your chapter to submit its chapter activities for the end of the current academic term. Submit text and/or photos of chapter events to Psi Chi at psichi@psichi.org for publication in the upcoming issue of Eye on Psi Chi. Filing at least one chapter activity or officer report fulfills one of the requirements for a Psi Chi Model Chapter Award. ACHS INITIATIVE: "A MATTER OF ETHICS" The Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) has organized "A Matter of Ethics" initiative to promote a greater understanding of and commitment to ethical behavior. To emphasize the importance of upholding high ethical standards in our own discipline, Psi Chi encourages chapters to participate by doing at least one of the activities suggested by ACHS on its own or in collaboration with other campus honor societies.
