Submissions to four Psi Chi Awards and one new Psi Chi Grant are due on February 1, 2006. Newman Award applicants need not be a member of Psi Chi to apply as all psychology graduate-level students are eligible. More information about each award and submission links can be found here:

CHAPTER REMINDER: REGISTERING NEW MEMBERS
The National Office recommends your chapter to mail its new member registration materials at least 3 weeks before your spring induction ceremony (so as to avoid rush fees). Doing so will enable your chapter to receive its new member certificates, cards, and lapel pins in time for new member inductions. Guidelines for inducting new members are listed online:

ACHS/WASHINGTON INTERNSHIP INSTITUTE SCHOLARSHIP
The Washington Internship Institute (WII) offers internship opportunities in government agencies, nonprofits, and businesses in Washington, DC each year. Interns spend four days a week at an internship and one day a week in classes bridging theory and practice. Psi Chi members are eligible for a $500 merit-based scholarship cosponsored by the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) and WII. The internship application deadlines are March 31, 2006 (summer 2006) and June 1, 2006 (fall 2006).
