PSI CHI: 500,000 MEMBERS AND GROWING!
Psi Chi congratulates Rebecca L. Anderson on being the 500,000th member inducted into Psi Chi! Ms. Anderson became a lifetime member on March 9, 2006, at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis Psi Chi Chapter and plans to graduate in May 2007. With over 500,000 lifetime members inducted since 1929, Psi Chi continues to be the largest psychological membership organization in the world as it furthers its purpose to encourage and advance excellence in the field and science of psychology.

MARCH 30/APRIL 1 DEADLINE
This is the last week for student members to mail submissions for Psi Chi's Summer Research Grants (March 30) and NSF/REU Grants (April 1). Both dates are postmark deadlines.

ANNUAL 5K RACE AT APA

The 28th Annual Running Psychologists' 5K race at the 2006 APA Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana, is cosponsored each year by Psi Chi and APA. The race will be held on Saturday morning, August 12, 2006, and the entry fee for preregistered runners is $15 for students and Division 47 members ($20 for others) through July 30, 2006.
