Greetings from the National Office. The October 1 deadline for 3 grants is just a few days away. Now is also the time to begin mailing your chapter's fall registrations of new members to the National Office.
OCTOBER 1 = GRANTS DEADLINE
October 1, 2002, is the deadline (postmark) for three Psi Chi grants. For the IRB approval for an Undergraduate Research Grant, applicants may send the form showing pending IRB approval if the actual approval form has not yet been received. The approved IRB form may then be faxed after the October 1 deadline to Psi Chi at 877-774-2443.

2002-2003 CHAPTER FORMS
Each year, one packet containing all updated Psi Chi forms is mailed to your chapter in September. If your chapter packet has not yet been received by your faculty advisor or chapter officers, please contact the National Office (psichi@psichi.org) to obtain a copy. At any time during the year, any Psi Chi form may be downloaded here:

REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP
What are the requirements for Psi Chi membership? The basic requirements for undergraduate and graduate students are listed online at the Psi Chi website (see URL1). Complete requirements for membership are listed in Article III of the Psi Chi Constitution (see URL2).

CHAPTER OFFICERS: USE MEMBER SURVEY AS RECRUITMENT TOOL
Use the Member Survey (see link below) as an aid for your chapter to determine your members' interests and ability to participate in chapter events. Your chapter may use the member survey provided as is, or may modify it to suit the specific needs of your chapter.
