NATIONAL COUNCIL ELECTION RESULTS
Results are in for Psi Chi's National Council for the upcoming 2007-08 academic year. Elected members are as follows: President-Elect Scott VanderStoep, Hope College (MI); Eastern Vice-President Jason Young, Hunter College, CUNY; Rocky Mountain Vice-President Melanie Domenech Rodriguez, Utah State University; and Western Vice-President Ngoc Bui, University of La Verne (CA). Psi Chi also announces the hiring of new Executive Officer Lisa Mantooth who began on March 1, 2007.

GRANTS DEADLINE: MAR 30 & APR 1
This is the last week for student members to mail submissions for Psi Chi's Summer Research Grants (March 30) and NSF/REU Grants (April 1). Both dates are postmark deadlines.

ANNUAL 5K RACE AT APA
The 29th Annual Running Psychologists' 5K race at the 2007 APA Convention in San Francisco, CA, is cosponsored each year by Psi Chi, APA, and several other groups. The race will be held August 19, 2007, and the entry fee for preregistered runners through August 11, 2007, is $20 for students and Division 47 members ($25 for others).
