JUNE 1: FACULTY ADVISOR RESEARCH AND FBI NCAVC GRANTS DUEThe submission deadline for a Psi Chi Faculty Advisor Research Grant and a FBI NCAVC Grant (for Psi Chi members accepted by the NCAVC to a spring 2009 internship term) is June 1, 2008.

WANTED: YOUR OPINION OF THE NATIONAL SERVICE PROJECTSThe Psi Chi National Council is reviewing the service projects which are currently endorsed by our organization. We are seeking your help. Some of the projects have been part of Psi Chi's recommended service opportunities for years. Others, such as the Food Drive, have only been added within the past five years.
We are asking that the chapter president please complete a brief questionnaire regarding service projects for the past year (2007-08). If your chapter participates in other service projects in your area which you believe might have broader interest as a national service project, please describe them for us on the questionnaire.
If you are a chapter president and did not receive the link from your faculty advisor, please notify the
Psi Chi National Office.

2008 APA CONVENTIONPsi Chi's 79th Annual National Convention, held in conjunction with the 2008 APA Convention, is in Boston, Massachusetts, from August 14-17, 2008. This year's Distinguished Lecturer is Drew Appleby, PhD.

CHAPTER REMINDERS: REMAINING NEW MEMBERS AND CHAPTER REPORTSChapters are reminded to forward all new members' information and fees from the 2007-08 academic year to the National Office. Individuals become Psi Chi members only when their registration information and fees are entered at the National Office. Chapters sometimes neglect to forward new inductees' information or fees, and thus those persons are never officially registered as members. Chapters are also reminded to file the Annual & Financial Reports by June 30, 2008.
