Greetings from the National Office. Brief news announcements about the national Call for Nominations, the December 1 deadline for five Psi Chi awards, the extended Eye on Psi Chi submissions deadline, and more are listed below.
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS MAILED TO CHAPTERSA Call for Nominations to nominate candidates for Psi Chi President-Elect has been mailed to all chapters. In addition, each chapter in the Eastern, Rocky Mountain, and Western regions will also receive a Call for Nominations to nominate a candidate for vice-president in their region. Psi Chi encourages chapters to take an active role in the national leadership of Psi Chi by nominating a candidate the chapter feels would be instrumental in continuing the great success and legacy of Psi Chi.

Eye on Psi Chi has been extended to
Friday, November 8, 2002. Your chapter may either e-mail the required information to

December 1, 2002, is the deadline for five important Psi Chi awards. This awards deadline includes awards for graduate and undergraduate members, faculty advisors, and chapters. Since the number of submissions is typically low for these awards, the National Office encourages your chapter to apply for at least one of them as your chances of winning are very good!
