Three Awards: Deadline is May 1, 2009

Three Psi Chi Awards — the Allyn & Bacon, Erlbaum, and Guilford Awards — are all due May 1, 2009. All submissions can be entered online. Review eligibility, guidelines, and more about these awards.

ACHS/Washington Internship Institute Scholarship

The Washington Internship Institute (WII) offers internship opportunities in government agencies, nonprofits, and businesses in Washington, DC, each year. Interns spend four days a week at an internship and one day a week in classes bridging theory and practice. Psi Chi members are eligible for a $500 merit-based scholarship cosponsored by the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS) and WII. The deadlines for the summer internships are February 15, 2009 (early deadline) and March 17, 2009 (regular deadline).

Psi Chi Mail

The US Postmaster has notified the Psi Chi National Office that our mail via the PO Box will not be available until after 10:00 am each business day. This is important information for chapters, especially, if a chapter is sending in an expedited order. You may want to send the information through our website by paying with a credit card or through another venue, such as Fed Ex or UPS. If you use a courier, delivery must occur before noon in order for the request to be considered as processed the same day. Do not simply send the information via the US Mail to the street address, as this will not be delivered to the National Office until after 3:00 p.m. The delay in the receipt of mail by Psi Chi will result in an additional day's turn around time for members and merchandise orders sent to the National Office.
