AWARDS DEADLINE: DECEMBER 1
The deadline for five Psi Chi awards is December 1, 2003 (postmark). New in this batch of awards is the Albert Bandura Award for the best graduate research. Read all about this award, and the four others, online here:

NOMINATIONS FOR NATIONAL OFFICERS
A Call for Nominations to nominate candidates for Psi Chi President-Elect was mailed to all chapters, and chapters in the Midwestern, Southeastern, and Southwestern regions also received a form to nominate a candidate for vice-president in their respective region. ELECT NEW OFFICERS FOR FOLLOWING YEAR
If your chapter hasn't already done so, the National Office encourages you to elect new officers for the upcoming 2004-05 year. Why so far in advance? We want your chapter to experience a smooth transition from year to year. However, the number one problem from chapters nationwide is exactly the opposite: chapters NOT having a smooth transition. Many chapters report on how last year's officers are gone, and the current officers don't know what to do. Instead, provide a smooth transition for your chapter by electing next year's officers in December or January, and having them come alongside this year's officers so as to learn their responsibilities and duties for the coming year.

NEW MEMBER INDUCTIONS
Psi Chi would like to remind your chapter, if it hasn't already done so, to send in your chapter's new member registrations before the end of the current academic term. Psi Chi encourages all chapters to hold one set of inductions in the fall and in the spring of each year.
