Eye on Psi Chi: Spring 2006

Spring Awards and Grants
Paula Miller, Psi Chi Executive Officer/Chief Operations Officer

Membership in Psi Chi provides many benefits for its members. One of these benefits is the Awards and Grants Program that provides over $250,000 annually to its student members, faculty advisors, and chapters. Each year the Psi Chi National Council expands this program by adding new grants and awards. During the past year, the National Council approved two new internship grant programs that began this year--the APA Science Directorate Grant and the FBI NCAVC Internship Grants. The National Council also approved eight graduate-level National Convention Research Awards (in addition to the currently funded eight undergraduate awards) to be awarded this year. Complete details on these new grants and awards and all other awards and grants can be found on Psi Chi's website www.psichi.org.
Highlighted below are several of Psi Chi's Awards and Grants that have spring deadline dates. Psi Chi encourages our student members, faculty advisors, and chapters to take advantage of all the opportunities that are offered through our awards and grants program.
