Division 52/Psi Chi International Travel Grant


Purpose
  • A travel grant of $1,500 to assist an international student member of both Psi Chi and Division 52 with travel expenses to the upcoming APA Convention.
  • A student travel grant jointly supported by Psi Chi and Division 52 (International Psychology).

  2. Submit all required information via e-mail to the Division 52 Chair of the Committee on Building Bridges With Psi Chi.

Eligibility

  1. Students planning to attend the upcoming APA convention in San Francisco, CA. August 9-12, 2018.
  2. Current undergraduate psychology majors or students in a graduate psychology program outside the United States; or within 6 months (at the time of submission) of having completed an undergraduate psychology degree in any country.
  3. Must be currently living, working, and/or studying outside the United States.
  4. Must be a member of Psi Chi at the time of submission.
  5. Must be a member of D52 at the time of submission (students may join at any time).
  6. Must be able to cover any travel expenses over the amount of grant funding.
  7. Must not apply simultaneously for any similar D52 travel grant.
  8. Must provide proof of acceptance to present research at the 2018 APA convention in San Francisco, CA.
  9. Must agree to attend and speak briefly at the D52 Awards Ceremony at APA.
