  Featured: Share Your Accomplishments

Our Chapter Activities Process Has Changed
Starting today, we are asking that you no longer submit “semester-long summaries” for your Chapter Activities. Instead, please compose up to 250 words in total about one to three specific activities conducted by your chapter. High-resolution photos and captions are also welcome! The next deadline for submissions is October 15, 2015.

Why the Change?
Featuring specific events in greater detail will provide you with more ideas for your chapter. Now, you can search for activities by the following categories: Community Service, Convention/Conference, Fund-raising, Induction Ceremony, Meeting/Speaker Event, Recruitment, and Social Event.

Submitting chapter activities is a great way to share your community service involvement with others, and it meets one of the requirements for the Model Chapter Award. Officers are permitted to submit activities for your chapter as well. We look forward to your submissions.

  Chapter Success

Tell Your Students
We know how much a message will mean to students coming from a valued faculty member like you. Please take a moment to complete our brand-new Invitation to Chapter Event template. Contacting all psychology majors and minors at your institution will encourage prospective members to join by letting them see your chapter in action.

Feel free to add other relevant chapter announcements to the template above before sending it. Our original Invitation to Membership template is also available.

Coming SoonYour Fall Mailing Packet
Make sure your chapter mailing address is up to date on the Faculty Advisor Admin page. This packet will include important information such as recruitment brochures, our “Psi Chi Faculty Advisor Timeline,” and more.

Update Your Officers Online
Don’t forget to select “Officer Add/Change” on your Faculty Advisor Admin page so that your officers will be given access to the Officer Admin page with their student login. This page contains additional privileges appropriate for their membership role such as the ability to submit chapter activities and view Officer Guidelines.
