Have You Visited Our Advisor Forum?

Your Upcoming Faculty Advisor Phone Call
You might have already received a call from a Central Office staff member this summer. If not, we plan to connect with you within the next few months via telephone to discuss ways that we can support you and your chapter. Send any questions about this call to

The End of Member Cards and Pins
To keep our lifetime membership fee low, new members will no longer receive free membership cards or pins for their induction ceremonies. Starting this fall, advisors will be able to order membership pins at a discounted price instead. Free membership certificates will continue to be provided as always.

We Have Participants for Your Online Research
Share a link to your online surveys on Psi Chi’s Post a Study webpage. Members and nonmembers alike can participate in the surveys listed on this page, and all you need to post a study is your Psi Chi member login and institutional review board approval for your research.

Help Your Students Become Published Authors
This summer, please mentor a few of your best students by helping them submit their original empirical research to Psi Chi Journal. If your students are accepted, they will get a first-hand opportunity to experience the publication process and receive valuable scientific research advice from you and your academic peers. Here’s an invitation template to get you started.

Going to APA 2016 in Denver?

Please stop by Psi Chi’s Exhibit Booth. We will have free Psi Chi swag, copies of Psi Chi Journal and Eye on Psi Chi, and handouts about Psi Chi and our partners. Our APA Distinguished Lecturer, Dr. Jane G. Stout, will present “New Research on Women’s Low Participation Rates in Science and Technology Fields.” View Psi Chi’s complete APA program.

Start Planning for Next Year
Here’s our Faculty Advisor Timeline to get you started. Be sure to print it out and hang it up in your office!
