Two awards of $600 each. One Diversity Award will be given to the primary author of the best article related to diversity published in the Psi Chi Journal of Psychological Research during the year prior to the award deadline.
One Diversity Award will be given to the primary author of the best article submitted for publication in Eye on Psi Chi. Winning the Diversity Article award means your article will be considered for publication, but does NOT guarantee publication in the Eye on Psi Chi. Your article will be submitted to our reviewers and you will be notified if it is accepted.

- The Diversity Committee
evaluates applications and chooses a winner.
- You will be
notified of your status within 60–90 days.
Students who have written articles concerning diversity issues and wish to be considered for publication in the Eye on Psi Chi. Students who have published diversity articles in the Psi Chi Journal of Psychological Research will be considered. Example issues include:
- ethnic minorities,
- economic factors,
- mental disability,
- physical disability, and
- non-traditional students
as well as other topics. For eligibility questions contact the awards department.
Both graduate and undergraduate Psi Chi members
are eligible for this award.
