Emily Cameron
The University of Calgary
2014–15 winner

"The Graduate Assistantship Grant is a valuable contribution to my education funding and opportunities. The University of Calgary places a large emphasis on research production while the first-year of the Master's degree is heavily focused on course work. This grant has given me the opportunity to spend a summer conducting and publishing research after two semesters of mostly clinical training. By allowing time for research, this grant will indirectly and directly increase my ability to be competitive on large Ph.D. scholarships and will continue to be an asset for a variety of future applications!"
