Psi-Chi-ology Lab:
Submissions 101

 XXXX XX, 2016

Psi-Chi-ology Lab is seeking
400- to 1,000-word creative articleswritten by Psi Chi members just like you!
In fact, you might have already finished an appropriate article as a short essay for a previous class. Think back. Surely, you have interesting ideas or insights that others would enjoy.

Here's What We're Looking for
Personal stories. Consider writing about your own unique experiences or perspectives. In other words, maybe you would like to talk about what helped you to recover after a bad car accident. Or perhaps you could show how you felt when you were mistakenly accused of plagiarism. We always enjoy hearing about how your Psi Chi chapter helped to improve your community too.
Topics that matter to you. For example, maybe you would like to describe why autistic individuals should take part in autism research. Or you could also inform students about something that you wish you had known before going to graduate school or starting your psychology-related career.
The sky is the limit. If the average psychology enthusiast would be interested, then we are interested too! For example, consider explaining how One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest did an excellent job at portraying a psychological illness, or pose a "What If" essay that encourages readers to discuss how they would react in a particular situation.
Is your metaphorical Rorscharch Inkblot beginning to take shape?
We sure hope so!
