This is dependent upon the number of worthy applications submitted to the Undergraduate Research Grants, Graduate Research Grants and the Faculty Advisor Research Grants that focus on diversity topics.

Mamie Phipps Clark was the first African American woman to earn a Ph.D. in psychology from
Columbia University. She graduated in 1943.
