Keep in Touch With Your Graduating Members
After graduation, many alumni members lose contact with Psi Chi when they stop using their institutional e-mail accounts. Advisors and officers, please ask your graduating students to update their contact information at and also in your chapter’s membership roster. 

Just imagine how much your chapter could accomplish with the added participation of some of your alumni members. Here’s an e-mail template to get you started.

Introducing Our All-New Advisor Forum
Advisors are encouraged to visit the Advisor Forum via their Faculty Advisor Admin logins. This is the perfect place to

introduce yourself to other advisors

discuss best practices and challenges related to your advisor role,

collaborate with other chapters on upcoming conferences and events, and 

share recruitment and member engagement strategies.

Model Chapter Awards
Is your chapter eligible to receive a Model Chapter Award for having accomplished 13 easy requirements throughout the academic year? If so, complete the appropriate application form to receive $100 and a certificate. Applications are due June 15, 2016.

Share Your Chapter's Accomplishments
Send us your recent Psi Chi photos of local meetings, induction ceremonies, and other activities for potential publication in Eye on Psi Chi magazine! You can also write about chapter activities in brief 40- to 100-word reports to share activity ideas with others around the world. Submissions for the fall issue are due May 15, 2016.

Unrestricted Travel Grants (May 4)—Apply for one of these 23 grants worth up to $1,500 each to support travel to any psychology-related convention outside of APA’s six regional conventions.

Faculty Advisor Research Grants (June 1)—These six grants of up to $2,000 each could help you defray costs associated with your research projects.

Travel With Psi Chi to Present Your Research in Cuba
Psi Chi students and faculty are invited to submit their psychology research for presentation at the IX Encuentro Internacional de Estudiantes de Psicoloía on October 24–28, 2016, at the University of Havana, Cuba. Submissions and presentations may be in Spanish or English. Abstract submissions are due June 20, 2016. If your abstract is accepted, full papers are due September 12, 2016. Psi Chi members may travel to Cuba only as part of Psi Chi’s group. Tentative travel dates from and to Florida are October 16 and 31. Visit HERE to learn more.

NEPA Convention
Plan to attend the New England Psychological Association Convention on October 15, 2016, at Assumption College (MA). The convention is open to students, faculty, practitioners, and professionals involved in all areas of the psychological sciences. Priority submissions are due June 11, 2016, and NEPA will continue to receive and review posters through September 21, 2016.
