Thank you for your interest in joining PSI CHI.
In order to join, you must qualify for membership and join through the chapter where you are currently a student or faculty member
As an undergraduate you qualify if:
- there is a Psi Chi chapter at your school (see Chapter Directory).
- you are majoring or minoring in psychology.
- you are a second-semester sophomore with an established GPA that places you in the top 35% of your class and is at least 3.00 on a 4-point scale. (Psi Chi chapters may use more stringent academic criteria for membership, but they cannot use lower academic standards than those required in the Constitution.)
Requirements for transfer students and graduate students differ.
The PSI CHI Society fee is $55 USD and additional fees may exist for your local chapter. All membership fees must be paid to your faculty advisor to be considered for acceptance into PSI CHI. The one-time fee is for lifetime membership.*
If you meet these requirements, please click the APPLY NOW link below and complete the online application.
Once your faculty advisor approves your registration, you can enjoy the members-only areas of the site. Check with your local chapter regarding deadlines for accepting applications.
