UNDERGRADUATE AWARDS AND GRANTS

Psi Chi offers a variety of awards and grants to undergraduate members. We encourage you to apply for multiple grants and awards throughout your college career because you will learn from the process. Each time you complete an application, you will gain experience and insight.

Application portals open approximately 30 days before the deadline.

GRADUATE AWARDS AND GRANTS

Whether you are planning to go into clinical practice, academia, or put your education to use in some other way, chances are that you are going to be applying for funding during your career. Take advantage of the opportunity to apply for awards and grants from Psi Chi. Let us help you prepare yourself for the many applications to come in your future.

Application portals open approximately 30 days before the deadline.

For more information or to submit a question, please visit the Awards & Grants FAQ.

CHAPTER AWARDS AND GRANTS

Consider applying for the Cousins and Regional Chapter Awards if your chapter received Model Chapter Awards the past two years. Many eligible chapters miss out on this opportunity, so be sure to submit an application on behalf of your chapter this year!

Winning chapter awards and grants will not only help your chapter stay visible and appealing to new members, but will also help with funding great chapter activities and opportunities.

For more information or to submit a question, please visit the Awards & Grants FAQ.

FACULTY AWARDS AND GRANTS

Students are not the only ones benefiting from our funding. Psi Chi faculty members are eligible to apply for awards and grants with programs made specifically for them. Encouraging the advancement of psychology is part of the Psi Chi mission and in many ways, faculty members are uniquely positioned to do just that.

Application portals open approximately 30 days before the deadline.

For more information or to submit a question, please visit the Awards & Grants FAQ.

Two ways for faculty members to be involved.
  1. Become a reviewer. Psi Chi welcomes volunteers who have obtained PhDs in psychology or psychology related fields to review applications for awards and grants. Gain professional service hours. Help students and/or peers improve their work.
  2. Serve as a sponsor. Many Psi Chi programs require students to have a faculty sponsor. As a sponsor, you will work side-by-side with a student, serving as a guide and mentor for a set amount of time as a project is completed.

About our Programs

Psi Chi offers over $400,000 in awards, grants, stipends, and scholarships every year. And because our programs are open only to our members, there is a much smaller pool of competitors than other programs. Our deadlines are throughout the year, with some programs having two or three rounds during each year. All of Psi Chi’s awards, grants, and scholarships are peer reviewed by volunteer doctor faculty.
