Faculty Research Grants

Faculty Research Grants

By providing funds for Psi Chi faculty who will serve as the principal investigator, the Faculty Research Grants help to defray direct costs (barring stipends, salary, etc.) of faculty research from which students may benefit. The Faculty Research Grants provides funds for well-rounded applications which demonstrate competence of and commitment to psychology's best research practices. The purpose of this program is to recognize and reward faculty who have committed their time and talents to their Psi Chi chapters by helping defray the direct costs of a research project in order to advance the professional development of Psi Chi faculty.

The annual budget for this program is $14,000. Individual grants are up to $2,000.

This program is now open to all Psi Chi faculty mentors, not just advisors.

Applications are due to the application portal by July 1.

The application portal will open 30 days before the deadline.
