Psychological Science in the Workplace and Life
Psychological science is all around us. Every day psychologists conduct research in real-world settings, whether increasing productivity, increasing community wellness, or designing better video games.
Consider submitting an abstract for a potential empirical manuscript to be published in our upcoming special issue. This special issue welcomes articles that showcase psychological science in a variety of real-world settings such as human resources, teaching and learning, health services, industrial/organizational, relationship counseling, and game design.
Submit your abstracts to the Special Issue Invited Editor, Dr. Jennifer Hughes, at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to reviewing your work.
- Abstracts are due October 1, 2019.
- Selected manuscripts are due December 15, 2019.
- Publication for the issue is anticipated for Summer 2020.
A vast amount of psychological research applies basic research to real-world settings. These applications of psychology improve lives and enhance well-being. This special issue is in direct support of the new 2019–20 Psi Chi theme, #PsychEverywhere.
Faculty and student authors are both eligible to submit. Only the first author is required to be a Psi Chi member. Learn more about this special issue in an exclusive interview with Psi Chi President Dr. Regan A. R. Gurung.
As always, other Psi Chi Journal submissions in any area of psychological science are welcome year round. Experience our rigorous, yet supportive and educational, peer-review process for yourself. Psi Chi’s high visibility across the field and dedication to transparent, replicable research practices makes our journal the place to submit your research today.
