Kay Wilson Officer Team Leadership Award
The Kay Wilson Officer Team Leadership Award annually recognizes one Psi Chi officer team who demonstrate outstanding leadership, initiative, and commitment to their chapter, Psi Chi, and Psi Chi's mission in "recognizing and promoting excellence in the science and application of psychology." This award honors Kay Wilson, Executive Officer of Psi Chi from 1991-2003. Under Kay Wilson's leadership, Psi Chi doubled its membership and increased its grants, awards, and national visibility. Kay Wilson not only demonstrated excellence in leadership but also realized the role Psi Chi plays in developing future leaders in psychology.
One award of $1,500 is available annually. The chapter retains $750 of the award as well as a commemorative plaque, and the other $750 is divided equally among the officers.
Applications are due to the application portal by March 1.
The application portal will open approximately 30 days before the deadline.
