The Science of Sexy: Clothing, Objectification, and Sexism

What do your clothes say about you? Whereas people can quickly gauge your fashion sense and style, research shows that people form many more conclusions about you from your clothes than one would think. Clothing is associated with sexism and objectification but can also suggest positive attributes. In this overview of research on the science of clothing, Dr. Gurung will discuss findings that may make you reassess what you wear.
