Southwestern Regional Awards & Grants

Regional Research Awards
As a Psi Chi member, you have an opportunity that most students do not: to attend a professional conference, and take advantage of all the benefits it offers. One of those benefits is the chance to present your research. When you present a poster or a paper at SWPA, you gain experience, knowledge, and confidence. You also become eligible to receive one of 12 regional research awards. For more information see:

 Regional Travel Grants
There are lots of good reasons to consider attending a SWPA convention—especially if you’ve got some great research to share. Psi Chi encourages members to take advantage of the opportunity to go by offering regional travel grants.

If you attend SWPA, you should apply for a Psi Chi travel grant. You may find yourself eligible and have your travel expenses reimbursed!

Regional Chapter Awards
The chapters in the Southwestern region are busy learning, serving, and carrying out the Psi Chi mission. If your chapter is a worthy role model, consider applying for a Regional Chapter Award.

Regional Faculty Advisor Awards
Does your faculty advisor inspire you? Faculty advisors who serve as role models and mentors deserve recognition! Nominate your faculty advisor to receive a Regional Faculty Advisor Award.
