SRCD Summer Research Grants
What is it?

Two grants of $5,000 each for undergraduate Psi Chi members to conduct research under the supervision of a Society for Research in Child Development sponsor. The grants will be divided into

  • a $3,500 stipend for the student, and
  • a $1,500 stipend for the SRDC sponsor

How does it work?

  1. Outline a project that is related to research in the area of child development.
  2. Identify a faculty member who is also a member of SRCD.
  3. Apply for the grant.
  4. Carry out your research project.

Who should apply?

  • Psi Chi members who will be undergraduates at the time they carry out their research project.
  • Students who have an SRCD sponsor.
  • Undergraduates who have planned a summer research project in the area of child development and require funding.

What is SRCD?

The Society for Research in Child Development is a professional association that is dedicated to advancing the study of human development, across a range of disciplines.

The application portal will open approximately 30 days before the deadline.
